Elgin Bungalows
Even though the quality of this photograph leaves much to be desired, it does show the typical characteristics of a Tudor Revival Style Bungalow. The house was built in 1928 for E. F. Prideaux. The original cost was $8500.
The characteristics of the Tudor Revival Style include the steeply pitched roof with a front gable; a variety of cladding (wood, brick, stucco and stone); a large, elaborate chimney, half-timbering and decorative entryway.
